Restore Point ??

Hi
Should I set a restore point before I back up a computer. ??
What is a restore point for / To restore the OS or is it more.

Restore points are used when you are installing software or a driver, and you don't know what the effects might be on the computer.
So if it mucks something up you can roll back to a working state with no hassle.

You don't have to set a restore point before a backup, you aren't changing anything on the PC.
