Microsoft will be able to throw a "kill switch" to disable or even remove an app from users' Windows 8 devices, the company revealed in documentation released earlier this week for its upcoming Windows Store.Kill switches -- so called because a simple command can deactivate or delete an app -- are common in mobile app stores. If I have said it once I will say it again. The ONLY person that should be on MY computer is me or who I let on it. I certainly do NOT want MS in there messing with crap. This is a privacy issue as far as I am concerned.
I'm with you Bigguy..I have always maintained that I alone will be in control of my PC, not Microdaft, Facebook, the Government or anyone else. I have been removing or disabling anything automatic since Win95.
