I was wondering what it turned out to be in the code that you were able to fix on the front page, if for nothing else than future reference for anyone who may go through something similiar..

In the file ManageSearchEngines.php at the bottom of the file I found an extra ?> at the very end of the file. Some have said a mod modified that file but I don't think I had one installed that touched that file. So right now it's a mystery to me how that code got there. It was not a hacking attempt at all or anything like that. Possibly a mod I have uninstalled and forgot about I don't know but it was damn hard to find. I must have went through 50 files or more manually.

No the file ManageSearchEngines.php is in the Sources directory. When it errors it shows on the forum and front page because the tag ?> is outside the closing ?> tag for php.
