Norton Question

I have notied something about Norton recesules when I am on my laptop.

Its is doing Idle, Idle full system scans by it self plus background scans too. I really dont know why it doing it by it self..

I would like to know that is normal or not?

I usally runs full system scans and flash member stick scans when I getting off the net to made sure I havent pick up anything from the hurmful net. (We all love the net and our computers. we dont to see nothing happen to them)

Yes it is normal for it to do scans when the computer is idling. There should be a settings you can change for that but not to sure exactly where it is.

I use norton and it is easy to administer.
just launch Norton and the first screen has the on and off options to include settings on the Top.
Click on that and you can easily make it do what you want. 
If downloading a file it dosent like just turn Off download intelligence.

Hi Casman, I shall try that under the setting. I think I am going to keep the setting where they at right now. It's will keep the old timer gateway be safe and sound.

I do thank you for letting me know for the setting's on the program CM!
