Cartoon Software
« on: April 11, 2011, 06:07:00 PM »
I have found a lot of cartoon software out there. I am looking for the best one I can get for my money. I plan to over the next few years learn to operate some sort of animation program. I know that I dont want the 40 dollar program. I want to be able to make full scale cartoons. I hope this turns out good for me down the line. This will be a start of something new for me. Yes I  know it is a long shot. But I will work hard.  I really need advice. I am using W7
Thanx

What Bigguy said and 2D or 3D?
Do you want to draw the characters yourself or use pre-prepared ones?
Single multi-image graphic or short movie?

More later...lol..

LOL HUH well Look for a PM
Now I want 3d absolutely. I guess it would be a short movie as I need moving cars and so on. Not a lot but enough moving stuff.
I cant draw much so I will animate a persons picture for the people and I can find cars and stuff online. I am looking for a professional program and I know it wont be cheap.

I have used Blender and it is not easy to learn (depending on what you want to do)..
The interface is huge and complex and should be the first thing you should learn..
Have a look here..lots of helpful things to study..
http://cg.tutsplus.com/articles/web-roundups/tutorial-roundup-53-amazing-blender-tutorials/

Especially this one on the list.....CGSutra’s Blender Basics
Good luck :snap

3D animation software/programs are all "not easy" to learn quickly so if you really want to do it, you will need the 3 "P's"...patience, practice and processing power....(is that 4 P's?..lol)
