DNS is Dynamic Name Servers. At the place you bought your domain name you should have a control panel that shows you options for that name or url. There will be a spot called "Name Servers" or something similar. In there is where you point your url to our server. When you are ready I will give those to you.

Just got the "novice" (thats me) hosting package  :P
 
So have Domain, Hosting and tools for e-store. Need a body to put it all together now lol

Ok in your control panel you will see a tab called "Domains" Click on it and then click on your domain name. Then up near the top to the right of center a bit you will see the link "Name Server Settings for (your domain name)"  click on that and then on "Name Server" You will see two text boxes. In the first one you want to put:

ns1.smfhelper.net

and in the second

ns2.smfhelper.net

Click "Enter Name Servers" and they should be set. :)

Lol, well take your time and go over everything and start slowly. There are tutorials here for you to read and we are around all the time so don't feel stuck or anything. :)

Good thing about threads I start is they usually turn out to be very long  :cool
 
The reason im asking a friend is because I have no idea where to start. Im just a guy with some product and the internet is a very powerful tool.
 
I appreciate your help thus far and will be bending your ear many......many more times before this is all said and done.
