IE9
« on: March 03, 2011, 02:12:55 AM »
It looks like IE 9 out performs firefox on my system, I'll have to wait for the new firefox to come out to see how it performs.

Been using IE9 for a bit now and FF just updated to 3.6.14 for me. I think FF is still faster for me. I haven't benchmarkred them though

IE9 should overwrite IE8 so you won't have to uninstall anything. Not to sure of the list of changes myself but they would be around somewhere. :)

You mean IE9. I don't see why not. All the times I have used it it's been as good as IE can be. :)

Which browser to use really has to be a matter of personal preference so you should try all or most of them to find out which one you favour.
Some people, like myself for example, wouldn't give IE a bone if it was starving and would rather shoot it in the head to put it out of it's misery..lol.. :snap
I have tried FF, Chrome, Safari and a bunch of others, finally settling for Opera, not because it is the best (it's not) but purely because I like the interface which I have customised to my own taste..
Happy surfing...

IE9 is still in RC when it hits stable they say it will be a bit faster, so far the fastest rendering browser on my PC is srware iron its a non callback build of chrome.
Firefox 4 is going to use the same basic javascript engine as chrome so we will see how it performs.

I do as well but its not looking good for them they are the slowest at the moment in performance.
This might change Firefox 4 is still in beta and IE9 is an RC I'll do another benchmark when they both go stable.
