Grub vs mbr

Do not try to install grub on an external drive when running vista on your laptop it will destroy your mbr. But... if you ever try: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 thats the fix. LOL I ran ubuntu dual booted on to an external drive from my laptop it was fun till i tried to boot windows withouth the external drive plugged in to usb. All better now  ;)
