Using resmon, which is resource monitor and it can be typed in at the search bar in the start menu. If anything turns red in their then it should be further investigated. On bootup for me it was sidebar.exe that slowed me down a bit. I have not tested shut down but in the search indexer options I also stoped the search from indexing any mail from Windows mail...that also helped a bit. I will report back soon. :)

This still happens a bit but not as much as before. Ayone have any other ideas I can try. ???
