Suggestions for Screen Capture tool
« on: December 18, 2010, 02:24:17 PM »
I need suggestions for a screen capture tool that I can use. I have an image I would like to post and showing the image would be easier than trying to explain it.  :)

thanks

How about using the Print Screen key to copy then paste in your fav graphic prog?
..or is it something more specific you wish to capture?

Thanks guys. I only want to capture a portion of the screen.

I use Opera 9.64 and FireFox so I will give that addon a try for FF.

I use Free Screen Video Recorder, from Free Studio. It works fine, can take pictures of every object you wish :)
Maybe you should marry that thing since you love it so much. Do you want to marry it? WELL I WON'T LET YOU! How does that feel?
That thing is probably some sort of raw sewage container. Go ahead and rub your face all over it.

I use Snagit. But thanks to AST3R1Z, I had installed the Screengrab add-on.

I have just downloaded and tried CamStudio on XP & Win 7..
It's a free app which captures any movement (+ audio) on your screen then saves it as an AVI or Flash.
It works quite well for a freebie.....
Check it out here:-

It's an add-on for The FireFox web browser. If you have FF you can install this for a screen capture tool. :)
