download folder in users folder

ok my download fold under my name matthew goes non responsive when trying to delete some files i don't need

When was the last time you ran a virus scan and an ad-aware scan. Also, when you press ctrl + alt + Delete and bring up the task manager when it goes unresponsive, does it show anything in there that is not responding at all. ???

bigguy i ran virus scan it comes up clean same with malware bytes program so the next time it goes non responsive i will open task manager

Hm... If you open up the taskmanager and terminate the window, Explorer will do a full restart, most of the time closing all windows. Just warning you.

Oh and how many files do you have in that folder? If there's LOTS (and I mean a few 100 files) in there it may take a big while to load.
