program files & partitions

I am just wondering how would i be able to move an installed folder from one partition to another partition?

both partition have program files folders..

EDIT: what do you think of application mover < http://www.funduc.com/app_mover.htm >? have u used it before? any pros and cons about it?

I think that program might be the only way to do it. I have never used it so I cannot comment on it. When you move a installed program folder what you do is break the links it has to the registry, which is why it doesn't work after that. Try the program and see if it works. Keep in mind though it could break it as well. (create restore point)

Surely, assuming you have the installation files, the easiest and safest way would be to uninstall the program then reinstall it to your other partition thus ensuring that the registry entries are correct and nothing is going to "break"....

am not sure if i have got the setup files for the installed files on the main partition.
i may try to use the win mover app.
