Well, it's out. It just hit stores today. Microsoft Office 2010 is in more than 35 000 stores world wide. A lot of people have been using the beta up til now testing it out. If you liked what you saw, now is your chance to have the gold version. The stores that are carrying it are: Best Buy, Office Depot, Fnac, Harvey Norman, and PC World.The beta of the office program was bigger than what was previously thought with about 9 million downloads from MSDN and TechNet.

Time for a moan..lol..
Why fix it if it's not broken?  I am still using Office 2003 which does everything I need it to do...
I did look at Office 2007 and found a lot of things had been moved, didn't like the new interface either so I won't even bother with Office 2010 which probably has things I don't need and would have to relearn how to use it...

Call me Obsolete but hey, maybe I am... ;D

I think there is a lot of people that think your way, nothing wrong with that. Like you said "Why fix it if it's not broken" ;) Always nice to be up to date though for people that are worried about old bugs or new security.

I felt the same way when I first saw 2007, however after I installed it and gave it a chance, I love it. I would never go back. I use my mouse more then keys and find it so much smoother.
I did not like how 2003 was all the bars and have seen it opened up on some peoples pcs and the screen was full of bars.
I am also very visual for learning and how I do things, so that may also be why I like it. Those friggan bars could end up anywhere.

However, I do not think I would even try 2010. Simply because there may be things missing from it that I use, just so they could add other stuff.
