I should maybe check it out again. I stopped using Norton years ago because it was slowed my bootup time.

I would still be using it if it wasn't a hog.

Maybe you should marry that thing since you love it so much. Do you want to marry it? WELL I WON'T LET YOU! How does that feel?
That thing is probably some sort of raw sewage container. Go ahead and rub your face all over it.

Little late on this but I use

Malwarebytes - freebie. Need to buy it and make it run with ESET Security Suite.

ESET Security Suite - which is the firewall and NOD32 antivirus.

Been using the ESET stuff for 9 or so years and so far, the only thing that got through was a pdf trojan a week ago. Not sure how that happened, might have been my doing as I sometimes tinker with settings that I should probably leave alone. Aside from my own stupidity, ESET have been bullet proof protection for me.

I gave up on Norton years ago, it eventually harmed/hampered every PC that I put it on. Was using Outpost Firewall before I went to ESET. I started having problems with Outpost stability so dropped them. Shame as it was a really good firewall back them. I think they where going through some development/company issues at the time.

Never tried ESET Security Suite. I have heard a lot about it. Maybe I'll check it out later. :)
