Laptop Won't Start First Time
« on: May 28, 2010, 06:42:21 AM »
Believe I have mentioned in another post that I haven't had my Laptop that long approx 2 months,  after several little problems with it which I managed to iron out, I have another one.    When I turn the thing on, it just sits there Black Screen, but everything looks to power up, mouse, laptop lights etc.  I then have to turn it off via the power button then on again and it starts fine and proceeds to win 7.

Anyone got any ideas,

When I first got my laptop it was doing this. All the lights would come on but no screen. I figured out that (On mine anyways) if the power button is not pressed hard enough this is what happens. If you press the power and hold it for a second all should boot fine.
