Is Apple Starting to Rot?
« on: May 10, 2010, 11:55:09 PM »
This rant may piss some apple fan boys off but what is the internet if not a haven for free speech. Now I through the years have admired Apple products and they are very well designed but is the core of apple bad. I have been reading a lot on this battle between apple and adobe. Apple blatantly said that the problems that occur in OS X are caused by flash, or Adobe are closed and proprietary. Plus they knock Google’s very well done Android stating that the only good apps on the android market are porn. Now here is my problem i have windows 7 with flash and never a problem i have an android phone never seen any porn apps maybe I’m not looking for it I don't know. But has apple become the evil empire of the 21st century?, have they lost their way. In my opinion they have apple has always been closed, there os on only hardware they allow. I owned an iPhone and frankly the music player was nice but the amount of control they have on how the interface is not fun, I got bored quickly of the standard theme that apple has locked in. At least with a blackberry you can personalize more than the lock screen and on my android phone I can change things to make the phone mine. If you have an Iphone and enjoy it fine, but your no longer a individual your just part of the whole that apple wants you to be. What i mean by that is every single person who has an iPhone has the same interface unwavering and absolute your no longer in the coveted few that have thought out of the box and stepped away from microsof to say i am an apple user, you've been absorbed into the collective like a borg out of star trek your being told what to like by the hive brain steve jobs millions of people with the exact same hardware and the exact same interface all along thinking that anything else is not perfection and trying to assimilate your friends and family in to the collective. Which brings me to the iPad all I am going to say about that piece of garbage is it's an f**king giant iPod...yay the iPod touch finally grew up into something that is just as useless.
