So I got a new monitor (pictured here). Asus vh192. It has some cool features, like the feature named splendid. The reason I had to buy this little beauty: my old monitor (kds) would turn completely white as soon as I turned it on. Funny thing though if you turn it on and off for about an hour it will eventually come to life. I am hanging on to the old one in the hopes that someone else has encountered this and knows of a quick fix, a quick fix that does not cost anything since i shelled out $110.00 for the asus monitor, which i'm really happy with.
