Facebook ending stalker software

There searching for it...that's right. All those apps that tell you who has visited your profile, Facebook says there no good. I believe them. For a site that is supposed to have all these privacy rules they don't do a good job at stopping these people from making these apps. Facebook is quoted as saying:

"Don't believe any applications that claim they can show you who's   viewing your profile or photo. They can't," Facebook said.


Most of these apps are money making schemes or after you install them they lead you to another site that infects your computer with a virus. Facebook goes on to say that they are not going to safe guard against this type of thing because having an open community where everyone can be involved and makes apps is usually better.

Well, guess what....if they can't safeguard their users against things like this then all they are doing is helping the app builder spread viruses and get rich. Is facebook half the problem, you be the judge.
