Today I was down the street from my place getting some building supplies for free from a house that is being torn down. I guess the owners of the place left it so much of what was there was going for free. One of the workers there knows me well and found a brand new motherboard and asked if I wanted it. Here are the specs. I will be building this and posting about it here:
Details
Compatible Processors
Celeron D , Core 2 Duo , Pentium D , Pentium
64-bit Processor Compatibility
Yes
Mainboard processor socket
LGA775 Socket
Mainboard / Multi-Core Support
Dual-Core
Chipset Type
SiS662 / SiS966L
Supported RAM Technology
DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-3200 , PC2-5300 , PC2-4300)
PCI-E 16x
I figure it's worth it to check it out and see if it works. What do you guys think.
here's more on it:

Why certainly. I will be posting pics. I would like a bit of help to from the community in the components I should buy. I see the board can handle a few different cpu's. I am going to stay away from 64bit cause I have a box for that right now.

That looks like some awesome choices for cpu's.
Wonder how cheap I can get a dual core.
EDIT: The top two on there look good.

Yes that's not bad at all. Might be a bit out of my price range though.

I think I will go with this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036
I think I can find it cheaper as well.
Edited first post to include the processor link.

Just looking at graphics cards at Tiger Direct
here
and they seem very cheap there so all together I think so far I would have to spend about 250 bucks. That's not to bad.
