Topic: Is Bing topping Google

Lately things in the search arena of the internet have been shifting. In February Bing topped the charts at 12.5% and for a year to year update bing still comes out on top of Google with 1.5% growth. Has Microsoft taken over the search arena. Google still reins supreme though with a whopping 65.2% of total market shares.

Personally I never though Bing would take off. It looks like it slowly is though. I wonder where this will go. Is google starting to slip, will bing over take them. I guess waiting is the only way to find out.

I hope they do it would be good for google to be overthrown. or if they can share equal market base.

If they do I think it will take some time before you actual see it happen. Personally I haven't even used Bing yet.

Really, MS is packing bing in their OS's and IE.  This is how MS plays the game.  Google better get ready for a fight because MS does not play fair.

Agreed, they never have. I think Google will give them a run for their money. After all they have their own O/S coming out soon.

Glad to see some kind of competition at least.  I'm not a fan of Bing really, but I am a fan of more choices when it comes to search engines.  There's a huge amount of "fanboyism" for Google and a lot of people forget they are a really big company trying to make a whole lot of money, just like any other search engine company.  All search engines have a whole lot of room for improvement imo and hopefully competition in the market will push them towards being better at searching and not just better at making money.
