Most printers these days are so inexpensive I usually just use them until the ink runs out. If you have a Walmart near you you can pic up a basic printer for under 40 bucks on sale. Now if you want a printer scanner fax and all that in one then I would go with HP myself.

I have been using a HP PSC for over 4 years and thus far it has not missed a beat,, (I don't use the crappy software that came with it but the printer it's self is great)

I rarely use any software that comes with hardware. It's all crap as far as I am concerned.
