New Card
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:04:11 PM »
Well, I found out what my fan problem was. It was the fan on my video card. I saw a card on sale at The Source so I had to buy it. I mean 69 bucks for a PCI-E x16 512 mb video card. Here are some specs for you:

I thought so as well. I wasn't going to find a deal like that in my town any time soon so I grabbed it.

Well, I'm havin fun in Winxp but for some reason the catalyst control center will not open up in Win 7 x64. I do have the right drivers and all but it's hard to change anything cause everything runs real slow. Any ideas anyone. ???

??? Sound strange if the driver is correct. Do yourself a favore and see if it has a different driver for Vista and try that

Yeah, will try Vista Drivers later today, after I wake up, lol. We'll see if that works better.

I tried Vista drivers and regular windows drivers and still the same thing. I guess it's time to go on a internet hunt to see what I can track down. :(

Still haven't found anything on this yet but haven't had a lot of time to look either. Going to do that now.
