lately I have had a problem with one of my fans making a noise. I have blown it out with air, cleaned it with a non-static brush but still it makes theses noises. Are there ball bearings in fans and could they be going.
or is the fan just real dirty and maybe it's time for a new one.

That sort of sucks. I was hoping I missed some dirt somewhere. Ok, well time to replace the fan.

I was thinking about that. Guess I just didn't want to drip on any other component around the fan. I might give that a try, thanks Costa.

new fans are cheap, quiet and easy to install. Just buy a new one and keep the old one for spare

Always better to replace them than have them going on you

Both are good ideas. I think though if I can get a couple bucks I will buy a new one, take this one out and fix it up for this other box I have here.
