Need a review btn avast and avg

i want to know which of the two is better i.e avast 4.8.1368 and avg 9.0.716 (lastest avg)...

I think that is really user preference. One might do the job better for one person than it does for another. I have used both and personally I don't like all the popups from avg at all. It is a real good scanner though. I think I would go with avast if those are the only two choices.

I always used AVG but then when I installed Kaspersky it found a number of Trojans that AVG did not pick up  ???

i like both the interface and the functionality,also it updates on boot up (not sure if avg does or not)
