It does speed things up but just like menus and windows opening and such, which is good I guess til I get more real ram. :)

Hi New Member CM Here
I Have readyboost in my Notebook which is Windows 7
Ready Boost to me is Usless !
I feel that Ready boost can be Overridden by the Speed of your Internet Connection
Most Important !
And Wireless and Wired Applications work Fast Enough !
So I Think Readyboost is a Scam !

Thanx

I stopped using it when it ruined a usb drive on me. I guess I should have posted that. I think this is something to stay away from in my opinion. If your computer is slow there are other things that can be done, like getting more ram or stopping some programs from starting up on boot. Or disabling services. I just made a post of that here today.

Yes I Agree as a User that Tested the Application
Ready Boost is  !!!!
I also find that my Notebook seems to have a Very Sensitive Temp Sensor
It Runs Slower at 79 Degrees than 60 Degrees
Just an Observation !

Yes it would get a bit slower the higher the temp. The cooler you can keep your rig the better it will preform for you. Heat is your enemy when it comes to computers.
