So the cable guy was just here and we discovered that when they came into town they changed their channel from 60 to 79 or something. This didn't mean to much to me to start but I guess that change made it a digital connection instead of a analog one or something along those lines. Which meant that the surge protector I had my cable line going through was slowing me down. It wasn't setup to take that type of connection I guess. I'm testing things now to see how they are. He also said I had one of the fastest 5 mbps connection he had seen, which was nice to hear.
